Septic Filters
We stock two popular effluent filters for septic tanks—both reliable, trusted components from manufacturers known for proven quality. We offer the EF-6 Effluent Filter from Tuf-Tite and the PL 122 Effluent Filter with Ball from PolyLok.

What this means for selection
- If you have a standard residential septic tank or a smaller installation, the PL-122 offers excellent fine-filtration and smart features (the shut-off ball) at a suitable capacity.
- If you're servicing a larger flow application (e.g., multi-unit dwelling, commercial property, or a higher-capacity system), the EF-6 gives you significantly more filtration surface and is built for heavier duty use.
- From a maintenance standpoint: The larger filtration surface of the EF-6 means longer intervals (or more margin) between servicing in high-flow contexts.
- Conversely, installing an EF-6 in a small-flow system may be overkill (cost, size, servicing effort) when a PL-122 suffices.

The Mirafi 140N / NC is a heavier-duty non-woven polypropylene geotextile, engineered for civil and construction applications where high strength, drainage, and soil-separation performance are required. It easily conforms to ground or trench surfaces for efficient installation.

Risers
Polylok has combined all the best features of concrete and plastic risers to create their patented riser system. Polylok risers hold their shape, are stackable, screw together, and are water and airtight. Structural ribs inside prevent frost from adhering to the riser in frost prone areas.

Ideal for use on septic tanks with matching risers. Polylok covers are made of HDPE with the highest UV protection on the market today. These covers will withstand normal residential traffic.
